Togliattiazot’s RAS net profit jumps to 7.123 bln rbl in 2018

MOSCOW, Mar 18 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian fertilizer producer Togliattiazot jumped by 750% to 7.123 billion rubles in 2018 on the back of a 9% increase in ammonia sales and higher international prices of ammonia and urea, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Monday.

Revenue grew by 27% on the year to 53.537 billion rubles in 2018. The cost of sales went up by 6.2% to 22.249 billion rubles, the sales profit more than doubled to 13.073 billion rubles, and the pretax profit almost tripled to 9.864 billion rubles.
